I wrote, produced and edited this segment for Times Square Arts about Aman Mojadidi’s Once Upon a Place, an interactive installation featured in Times Square from June to September 2017. Visitors were invited to open the door of one of three repurposed, old-school telephone booths, pick up the receiver, and listen to immigrant New Yorkers tell their stories, often in their native tongue. The segment is narrated by my colleague Hannah Lee.
Another piece I wrote, produced and edited for Times Square Arts, this one about Lars Jan’s Holoscenes installation. Sited in Times Square’s plazas, Holoscenes featured a totemic aquarium sculpture filled and drained by hydraulics with twelve tons of water in as little as 45 seconds. The aquarium was inhabited by a rotating cast of performers conducting everyday behaviors — selling fruit, getting dressed, reading a paper, tuning a guitar. The piece was born of the concern that as global sea levels rise, flooding and drought will become the central issues of the 21st century. My colleague Hannah Lee narrated this one as well.
In this two-way, conducted for WNYU’s news program Earshot, I interviewed writer and economist Anna Bernasek about her Newsweek article "Eating Our Young: The U.S. spends more on the elderly than it does on the young.” I also produced and edited the segment.

I co-wrote and played bass on this track from Liza Warrior Princess’ EP “Sad Bitch”. The song was also written and performed by Liza Dzul, Matt Baddour, Alberto Lalama, and Sachin Mitra; mixed by Lily Wen; and mastered by Mark Santangelo.
